Rockets from Syria injure 4 in SE Turkey

KILIS, Turkey (AA) – At least four people were injured when three rockets fired from Daesh-controlled territory in Syria landed in the Turkish province of Kilis on Monday, a security source said.

One of the rockets hit the wall of a residential building in a central neighborhood of the Kilis province, while the other two landed in empty fields in other residential areas, the source said on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to the media.

The wounded have been hospitalized, the source said.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.

The border province has been hit by more than 80 rockets since January, resulting in 21 deaths.
