PSG drop points in Pochettino’s 1st game

ANKARA (AA) – New manager Mauricio Pochettino’s first game in charge of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) ended in a draw on Wednesday.

The defending French champions dropped two points as they were held 1-1 away at Saint-Etienne.

Romain Hamouma netted the opener for the home side, with Moise Kean equalizing for PSG just three minutes later.

Pochettino, 48, replaced Thomas Tuchel as PSG manager on Jan. 2.

PSG are currently in second spot in Ligue 1, three points behind leaders Olympique Lyon.

Lyon have 39 points.

Meanwhile Saint-Etienne are in 14th place with 19 points.
