ANKARA (AA) – Counting of votes is underway in Turkey’s Sunday presidential and parliamentary elections.
As of 10.00 p.m., some 93 percent of ballot boxes in the presidential polls have so far been opened.
According to preliminary results, the vote distribution is as follows:
Recep Tayyip Erdogan: 52.9 percent
Muharrem Ince: 30.6 percent
Selahattin Demirtas: 7.9 percent
Meral Aksener: 7.4 percent
Temel Karamollaoglu: 0.9 percent
Dogu Perincek: 0.2 percent
