Phoenix Suns beat LA Clippers to take 3-1 lead in West finals

ISTANBUL (AA) – The Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 84-80 to take a 3-1 lead in the NBA Western Conference finals on Saturday.

Devin Booker was the highest scorer of the game with 25 points at Los Angeles' Staples Center.

Bahamian guard Deandre Ayton posted a double-double with 22 rebounds and 19 points while Chris Paul scored 18 points and seven assists.

For the LA Clippers, Paul George, and Ivica Zubac posted a double-double in the loss to the Suns.

George produced 23 points and 16 rebounds as Croatian center Zubac scored 13 points and 14 rebounds.

Reggie Jackson also helped his team with 20 points.
