Peace will be forged in Syria: Turkish parliament head

By Muhammet Emin Avundukluoglu</p> <p>ANKARA (AA) – Peace will be established in Syria, and the country will be made secure, Turkey’s parliament speaker vowed on Wednesday.</p> <p>&quot;Our [Syrian] brothers will definitely return to the homes where they were born, grew up, and have bittersweet memories,&quot; Binali Yildirim told a symposium on migration and integration policies.</p> <p>Yildirim added that Turkey would continue to work on the social and cultural integration of Syrian refugees into Turkish society.</p> <p>Yildirim said that they would open language schools for Syrians in all 81 of Turkey’s provinces, where they can learn both the Turkish tongue and about Turkish culture.</p> <p>Turkey hosts more than 3.5 million Syrian refugees, more than any other country in the world.</p> <p>The country has spent more than $32 billion of its own national resources to help and shelter Syrians since the beginning of the Syrian civil war.</p> <p>Syria has only just begun to emerge from a devastating conflict that began in 2011, when the Assad regime cracked down on demonstrators with unexpected ferocity.</p> <p>
