ANKARA (AA) – Counting of votes is underway in Turkey’s Sunday presidential and parliamentary polls.
As of 00.00 a.m. local time, some %97.75 percent of ballot boxes across the country have been opened in the parliamentary general election.
According to unofficial results, the vote breakdown for the political parties is as follows:
PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE: 53.59 percent
AK PARTY: 42.42 percent
MHP: 11.17 percent
NATION ALLIANCE: 34.17 percent
CHP: 22.74 percent
GOOD (IYI) PARTY: 10.07 percent
FELICITY PARTY: 1.36 percent
HDP: 11.46 percent
