Palestine protesters hurt by Israeli gunfire in W. Bank

By Qais Abu Samra</p> <p>RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) – At least four Palestinian protesters were injured by Israeli army gunfire on Friday during clashes with Israeli troops in different parts of the occupied West Bank, according Palestinian medical sources.</p> <p>The sources told Anadolu Agency that one of the protesters had been injured by heavy ammunition while three others were hurt by rubber bullets in the town of Al-Mughayyir east of the city of Ramallah. </p> <p>Dozens of other protesters received treatment at the scene after suffering the effects of excessive teargas, the same sources added.</p> <p>Along with Al-Mughayyir, clashes between heavily-armed Israeli troops and stone-throwing Palestinian protesters were reported Friday in the West Bank towns of Nilin, Ras Karkar and Kafr Qaddoum.</p> <p>The Israeli army — using teargas and rubber bullets — typically disperses anti-occupation protests held across the occupied West Bank following Friday prayers.
