Over 35,000 drug pills seized in central Turkey

KONYA, Turkey (AA) – Turkish security authorities Friday confiscated a large quantity of drug pills in the central Konya province.

According to the provincial security directorate, police were tipped about the sale of drug pills in Konya.

Acting on the tip, officials arrested a suspect carrying luggage loaded with a total of 35,616 pills in the Selcuklu district.
