By Satuk Bugra Kutlugun</p> <p>ANKARA (AA) – The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Golden State Warriors 111-105 on Monday evening to clinch their 22nd straight season with a winning record.</p> <p>Since the 1997/1998 season, the Spurs managed to eclipse the 500 winning record, under head coach Gregg Popovich tenure.</p> <p>Spurs' star duo LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan combined for 49 points in the victory; while Rudy Gay scored 17 points off the bench.</p> <p>For the Warriors, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry joined each other for 49 points; Klay Thompson added 14 points in the losing effort.</p> <p> </p> <p>- Dirk Nowitzki passes Wilt Chamberlain in all-time scoring list</p> <p>Dallas Mavericks' legendary power forward Dirk Nowitzki passed Wilt Chamberlain in all-time scoring list on Monday evening, during Mavericks' match against the New Orleans Pelicans. </p> <p>Scoring four points in the first quarter, Nowitzki passed Chamberlain to become the sixth most scoring NBA player of all time.</p> <p>After Nowitzki's classic fadeaway jumper, the Mavericks played a tribute video, congratulating their player.</p> <p>The Mavericks lost to the Pelicans 129-125.</p> <p> </p> <p>NBA all-time scoring leaders: </p> <p>1.
