NBA: Nuggets snap Jazz's 11 games winning streak

ISTANBUL (AA) – Denver Nuggets claimed a 128-117 victory over Utah Jazz in Monday's NBA game, behind its superstar Nikola Jokic's monstrous effort.

The Serbian forward, one of this season's MVP candidates, tied his career-high with 47 points to end Jazz's 11-game winning streak.

American guard Will Barton scored 18 points, whereas Canadian guard Jamal Murray finished with 16 points.

For Utah Jazz, Croatian forward Bojan Bogdanovic produced 29 points, while Filipino guard Jordan Clarkson came off the bench to add 13 points.

Fourth-place Nuggets improved to 12-8 with this victory in the Western Conference win-loss table.
