WASHINGTON (AA) – Several fatalities have been reported at a Texas high school after a lone gunman opened fire at Santa Fe High School outside of Houston.
Assistant Principal Chris Richardson told reporters the suspected shooter has been taken into custody.
The Santa Fe Independent School District has confirmed injuries, noting law enforcement is continuing to secure the building where the shooting took place. CNN and other media outlets reported multiple fatalities citing anonymous law enforcement officials.
