RABAT (AA) – Morocco late Tuesday launched its second satellite from the Kourou Base in French Guiana, Morocco’s official MAP news agency has reported.
The French-built satellite, according to the agency, will be used for mapping, agricultural planning and disaster prevention, along with border and coastal surveillance.
It will be Morocco’s second earth-observation satellite, the first having been launched in November of last year.
