Morocco, China sign 15 bilateral agreements

RABAT, Morocco (AA) – Morocco and China on Thursday signed 15 bilateral agreements in the sectors of banking, tourism, economy, industry and investment, the Moroccan Foreign Ministry said in a written statement.

The statement also stipulated joint projects in the energy sector, construction of a high-speed railway, training technical and administrative personnel, transferring applicable technology, auto parts production, establishing joint investments including in the banking sector, and strengthening cooperation in tourism.

On Wednesday, Moroccan King Mohammed VI arrived in China on an official visit along with a number of ministers and top advisors.

During his visit, Mohammed met with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday and discussed strategic bilateral partnership.
