VAN, Turkey (AA) – Turkish police seized 30.34 kilograms (66.88 pounds) of heroin in an operation in the eastern province of Van, local prosecutors said Tuesday.
Anti-narcotic teams seized at least 58 packages of the drug from a truck, said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
Two suspects were held.
