Magnitude 6.4 earthquake hits Iran's west

ANKARA (AA) – A magnitude-6.4 temblor rocked western Iran near its border with Iraq, state media reported on Sunday.

The epicenter of the quake was western Kermanshah province, Iran's state television said.

There were no immediate reports of causalities or damage.

The shake was also felt in northern Iraq.

No other details are available at this time.

Around 620 people were killed when a 7.3-magnitude earthquake shook Kermanshah in western Iran in November, 2017.
