LeBron-led Lakers hit Warriors 128-97 in NBA

ANKARA (AA) – The Los Angeles Lakers hammered the Golden State Warriors 128-97 in the NBA late on Monday as US superstar LeBron James had a triple-double for the visitors.

The Lakers' James tallied 22 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Montrezl Harrell had 27 points for the Lakers.

Warriors playmaker Stephen Curry scored 27 points and Andrew Wiggins added 15.

Curry produced two assists in this match to set the Warriors' all-time assist record, now 4,856.

He surpassed Guy Rodgers, who was a Warrior in the 1960s.

The Lakers are in the third spot in the Western Conference standings with 26 wins and 13 losses.

Meanwhile, the ninth-place Warriors have a 20-20 win/loss record in the 2020-21 NBA regular season.
