ANKARA (AA) – Turkish citizens are now able to have their visas to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic issued at the border, according to Laotian Premier Thongloun Sisoulith on Thursday.
Sisoulith's announcement came during a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in his office in the capital Vientiane.
Cavusoglu, who is currently on a two-day visit in Vientiane, is the first Turkish foreign minister to visit to Laos.
During the meeting, Cavusoglu and Sisoulith discussed bilateral political, economic and trade relations between Turkey and Laos.
Cavusoglu also met his Laotian counterpart Saleumxay Kommasith.
