JERUSALEM (AA) – Israeli forces killed two Palestinians and seriously injured another in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, Israeli media reported on Friday.
The Palestinians were shot after they opened fire at Israeli soldiers at the Salem settlement outpost, according to the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation and local daily Maariv.
Israeli police said in a statement that three Palestinians “shot at the gate of the Salem base and the soldiers deployed there responded by shooting and wounding the three.”
The statement, however, did not specify the condition of the three Palestinians.
