QOM, Iran (AA) – The Iranian authorities have reportedly shut a pro-reformist newspaper after it published a report on the proliferation of weapons in Iran’s Qom province.
The Shakhe Sabz newspaper was closed on the orders of Iran’s prosecutor-general, local media reported, while arrest warrants were issued for the paper’s publishing editor and editor-in chief.
The newspaper was reportedly closed after it published a report on the proliferation of weapons in Qom’s Nerogah district southwest of capital Tehran.
