Hundreds of spiders seized at Philippine airport

By Can Erozden</p> <p>ANKARA (AA) – Philippine officials seized hundreds of tarantulas at capital Manila airport Wednesday, U.S. media reported.</p> <p>NBC Washington said 757 tarantulas were being held by customs authorities in Manila's Ninoy Aquino Airport.</p> <p>It is said the spiders were found in cookie boxes sent from Poland valued at $6,000.</p> <p>A suspect was arrested for wild animal trafficking.
