ISTANBUL (AA) – Head of Hamas' parliamentary bloc Mahmoud al-Zahar has met with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif in Tehran, Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported on Sunday.
Al-Zahar and his delegation met Zarif on Saturday at the Iranian Foreign Ministry headquarters in Tehran.
The meeting tackled the Palestinian cause and other regional issues.
During the visit, al-Zahar met Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani and Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani.
