BERLIN (AA) – Germany’s far-right party lawmaker suffered serious head injuries after being attacked by unknown assailants.</p> <p>The incident occurred in the northern German city of Bremen, where Alternative for Germany (AfD) lawmaker Frank Magnitz is heading to the local branch of the party. </p> <p>Bremen police said the incident was probably a “politically motivated” attack, and asked for the public help to identify the suspects. </p> <p>The AfD’s local branch in Bremen claimed that the far-left groups were behind the attack, and also accused the Social Democrats and Greens for providing support for these groups.
