PARIS (AA) – France will host talks on the Syrian conflict next week, government spokesman Stephane Le Foll said Wednesday.
Monday’s meeting will bring together the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates with French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault on May 9.
The talks will focus on stalled negotiations between the warring parties, cease-fire violations and the recent escalation of fighting around Aleppo, Le Foll said. French, German and British representatives will meet before the weekend.
