Football: Battle for Turkish Super Lig resumes

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's Super Lig kicks off with its week on Friday, with league leaders Galatasaray taking on Ankara’s Genclerbirligi in Istanbul's Turk Telekom Stadium.

Galatasaray, coming off from their first defeat of the season against Trabzonspor, will look to bounce back and bag another three points at their home ground.

The match will start at 8 p.m. local time (GMT1700).

City rivals Fenerbahce, who drew against Kayserispor last week, will go to Ankara to square off against Osmanlispor.

Second-placed Basaksehir and third-placed Besiktas will be in action on Sunday.
