ANKARA (AA) – A 1-0 victory over Sweden secured Italy a place in the final 16 of Euro 2016 on Friday.
The Group E match in Toulouse saw Eder score from the edge of the penalty area in the 88th minute.
Italy top the group with six points while Sweden lie in third spot with one point. On Saturday, Belgium and the Republic of Ireland face each other in the group’s other fixture.
