Etihad Airways to suspend flights to Tehran

DOHA (AA) – Etihad Airways will be suspending air flights to Iranian capital Tehran as of next week, the Abu Dhabi airliner said.

In a statement, the airliner said it will start reducing its five weekly flights to Tehran to twice a week from Dec. 25 until January 23.

Flights to Tehran will be scrapped as of January 24, the company said.

No reason was given for the move.
