JAKARTA, Indonesia (AA) – Philippines on Monday confirmed a record 8,019 new COVID-19 cases, pushing the total to 671,792, the Health Ministry said.
Four patients died while 103 recovered, taking the total to 12,972 and 577,850, respectively.
The ministry urged the public to stay at home and adhere to health protocols at all times.
A nationwide vaccination program in the island nation began on March 1.
