By Bayram Altug and Bahattin Gonultas</p> <p>DAVOS (AA) – Chinese vice president on Wednesday said the international order was under “serious” threat and called on the global community to collaborate to cope with challenges in 2019.</p> <p>Wang Qishan was speaking at a special session alongside the World Economic Forum’s founder Klaus Schwab in Davos, Switzerland. </p> <p>Wang said China's growth success was not “serve up on a plate" and that "hard work" led to the success. He added that Beijing would focus on widening reforms and opening more markets to international companies.</p> <p>The Chinese dignitary went on to say that his country was ready to contribute to global growth with its large market and increasing consumption.</p> <p>"We have to work together to deal with the growing imbalances in many countries," he said.</p> <p>Wang recalled that the Chinese economy had a growth rate of 6.6 percent in 2018.
“This figure is not any low, it is a significant figure. Speed is important, however, qualified and efficient growth is more important, ” he asserted.
Predicting that there would be more uncertainties in 2019, he said China's growth would continue regardless of the global trend.
