Car-bomb kills nine in Syria’s Raqqa

By Adham Kako and Mohamed Misto</p> <p>ANKARA (AA) – Nine people were killed Tuesday when a car-bomb exploded in Syria's northern city of Raqqa.</p> <p>Most — if not all — of the victims were civilians, local sources said, adding that at least six other people had been injured by the blast.</p> <p>No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.</p> <p>Last October, the YPG/PKK terrorist group — backed by a U.S.-led military coalition — wrested control of Raqqa from the Daesh terrorist group. </p> <p>*Writing by Mahmoud Barakat
