ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index was down 0.81% to end Thursday at 1,546.60 points.
Starting the day at 1,567.11 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 12.68 points over Wednesday's close of 1,559.28 points — all time high close.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,845.15 by market close, down from $1,852.90 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $55.70 per barrel as of 6.15 p.m. local time (1515GMT) on Thursday.
