CAIRO (AA) – A bombing struck a church in northern Egypt on Sunday amid reports of casualties, according to local media.
The explosion was reported in St. George church in the Nile Delta city of Tanta, the media said.
No further details were yet available and Egyptian authorities have yet to comment.
The blast occurred on Palm Day, a Christian feast commemorating the entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem.
