Barcelona confirms signing of Pjanic from Juventus

ANKARA (AA) – Spanish football club Barcelona announced Monday that Miralem Pjanic will sign a deal with the club for the next four years with a buy out clause of €400 million ($449 million).

Barcelona said that the cost of operation will be €60 million ($67 million), plus €5 million in variables.

"The player will remain with Juventus until the 2019/20 season is over," the club added on its website.

Pjanic joined Juventus from Roma in 2016 as he produced 22 goals and 36 assists in 171 appearances.

The 30-year-old helped the Turin side win three Serie A league titles, two Italian Cup, and one Italian Super Cup.

Throughout his career, Pjanic played for the French teams, including Metz, Olympique Lyon and Italy's Roma.

Bosnian star also scored 14 goals in 94 games for his nation, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
