Australian Open: No. 8 seed Kvitova through to semis

By Fatih Erel </p> <p>ISTANBUL (AA) – Czech Republic’s Petra Kvitova on Tuesday beat Australian Ashleigh Barty to reach the semifinals in the Australian Open 2019. </p> <p>In women's singles game at Melbourne, 28-year-old Kvitova defeated 15th-seeded Barty 6-1, 6-4 in 68 minutes. </p> <p>The world number eight will face American Danielle Collins in the semifinal.
