Anadolu Agency to launch economy journalism training

ANKARA (AA) – Anadolu Agency on Monday will launch its Economy-Finance Journalism Training for international participants in Ankara in collaboration with the Turkish International Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and the agency’s News Academy.

Twenty-five trainees from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Georgia, Mongolia and Tajikistan would be given practical and theoretical training on global economy and finance, data banking, effects of technological development to financial markets and some other related subjects.

Hatice Karahan, senior economy advisor to the Turkish president, experts from Turkish Economy Ministry; Science, Industry and Technology Ministry; and Central Bank as well as experienced editors of Anadolu Agency’s Energy, Economy, Photograph and Video news sections will give lecture to the trainees.

Russian will be the medium of instruction during the training program while simultaneous translation facilities would be provided when instructors use Turkish language.

Successful trainees would be awarded certificates following the 78-hour training program which would continue till March 30
