ANKARA (AA) – Anadolu Agency’s 13th war journalism training program was inaugurated Monday in the capital city Ankara.
The 12-day program has been organized in collaboration with Turkey's police force, emergency services as well as the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
Twenty-four journalists from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Philippines, Cameroon, Montenegro, Kenya, Niger, Pakistan, Serbia, Somalia, Sri Lanka and Yemen are participating in the program.
They will be trained on reporting in war zones and during natural disasters.
At the end of the program on Sept. 14 participants will be awarded certificates.
