By Aamir Latif</p> <p>KARACHI, Pakistan (AA) – A massive dust storm flanked by gusty winds hit the southern port city of Karachi, killing at least 5 people and injuring over 30, officials and local media reported on Monday.</p> <p>The dust storm uprooted trees, utility poles and signboards in different parts of the city apart from causing roofs of several houses and schools to collapse.</p> <p>According to rescue officials, multiple road accidents were also reported, mainly from main Karachi-Quetta highway, killing at least three people and injuring several others. Two others were killed in roof-collapse incidents, they added.</p> <p>Dr. Seemi Jamali, head of the emergency services at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center, told reporters some 36 injured people were brought to the hospital on Monday.</p> <p>The meteorological department has forecast another dust storm accompanied by heavy rains on Tuesday.
