6 Daesh-linked suspects arrested in Turkey

ANKARA (AA) – Security forces arrested six suspected Daesh members in the Turkish capital Ankara and southern Turkey on Monday, according to a security source.

The counter-terrorism unit of the Ankara police arrested three Daesh suspects in the Beypazari district, said the source on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media.

Separately, in southern Adana, local police arrested three more Daesh members.

Adana police also arrested 10 Daesh suspects yesterday.

At least 319 people have lost their lives in Daesh terror attacks in Turkey. The terrorist group has targeted civilians with suicide bombs and rocket-and-gun attacks.

Turkish security forces have been involved in a long-running campaign to thwart Daesh attacks.
