ANKARA (AA) – At least five terrorists were "neutralized" in Turkey's southeastern Sirnak province on Saturday, the country’s Interior Ministry said.

Turkish authorities often use the word "neutralized" in their statements to imply the terrorists in question either surrendered or were killed or captured.

In a statement, the ministry said the terrorists were “neutralized” in Cudi mountain area.
