ANKARA (AA) – The 2021 Turkish men's and women’s basketball cups will be suspended because of coronavirus concerns, the Turkey Basketball Federation confirmed Thursday.
The organizations asked for the suspension after requests by teams.
Postponed games due to COVID-19, jam-packed fixtures in leagues and European competitions, health concerns of players, coaches and staff on teams were among reasons for the suspension.
