ANKARA (AA) – A number of 1,000 spectators can access to the Roland Garros grounds every day to watch the French Open, organizers said on Friday.

"Following the announcements made by government authorities, 1,000 spectators will be permitted to enter the Roland-Garros grounds per day. This cap applies across all 16 courts, in the 12-hectare site, and is equivalent to one thirty-fifth of the usual number of spectators that have attended in the first week of the main draw in previous years," Roland Garros said on its website.

The organizers limited the number of spectators this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In addition, there will be a draw for each day among the ticket holders.

The 2020 French Open's first round in women's and men's singles will start on Sept. 27 in Paris, France.
