ANKARA (AA) – Turkish Airlines began operating Monday flights from Istanbul to the Seychelles, the 115-island country which lies 1,500 kilometers (932 miles) east of the East African mainland, the company said in a written statement.
Turkey’s flag-carrier stated that the Seychelles marked the company’s 114th country it flies to, the 42nd in Africa.
The airline added that flights between Istanbul and the Seychelles would operate three days a week with costs starting as low as $599 all-inclusive.
