By Jeyhun Aliyev</p> <p>ANKARA (AA) – Turkey’s international news channel on Friday announced it is accepting applications for the two-month-long fellowship program.</p> <p>TRT World Academy's third cycle of TRT World and TRT Arabi — the Arabic broadcasting service — fellowship program will take place from June 17 to Aug. 10. </p> <p>The program is expected to provide 20 participants with the opportunity to learn the dynamics of a rapidly changing media industry as well as Turkish life and culture.</p> <p>The program especially welcomes junior journalists and fresh graduates who are interested in enhancing their knowledge in journalism, documentary making, cinema, TV, media, research and humanitarian programs.</p> <p>Successful 20 applicants will spend their time in TRT World and TRT Arabi’s news and current affairs, as well as digital and research departments.</p> <p>"Fellows will receive hands-on experience and some on-site training for their professional development. In return, TRT World will benefit not only from their day-to-day contributions but also from the fresh perspectives they bring to the table," said Ibrahim Eren, director general and chairman of TRT.</p> <p>Detailed information on the application can be found at www.trtworld.com/fellowship.</p> <p>Istanbul-based TRT World — Turkey’s first English broadcasting international news platform — was launched in 2015 as a part of Turkish public broadcaster, which operates 14 television channels and nearly 20 radio stations.
