UK Min. signs book of condolences for Istanbul victims

LONDON (AA) – The U.K Secretary of Europe Alan Duncan has visited Turkish Embassy in London on Wednesday to sign the book of condolences for the victims who lost their lives at Saturday’s deadly terrorist bomb attacks in Istanbul.

Duncan has shared a photo of himself on twitter to show his solidarity with Turkey.

“Signing book of condolence at Turkish embassy following loss of life in twin bomb attacks in Istanbul,” he wrote in his post.

On Saturday evening a car bomb went off outside a football stadium in the city’s Besiktas district, two hours after the end of a Turkish football league match. Seconds later, a suicide bomb attack occurred in Macka Park in the same neighborhood.

Deadly blasts in Istanbul left 44 martyred and dozens of others wounded.

The book of condolences will be available at the Turkish Embassy in London until Friday.
