PARIS (AA) – Spanish tennis player Garbine Muguruza beat her American opponent Serena Williams to win the French Open’s women’s singles category in Paris Saturday.
Muguruza beat Williams with scores 7-5 and 6-4.
The American tennis star, who had won the tournament title three times before, lost the final for the first time in her career.
