ISTANBUL (AA) – Leading public relations and communications experts will meet at a special summit in Istanbul between Feb. 16 and Feb. 17, it was announced Wednesday.
The Global PR Summit Istanbul 4 will take place at the InterContinental Hotel, where experts will discuss the latest trends and challenges in today’s changing public relations industry.
BP America’s former vice President corporate communications, Princess Diana’s private secretary Patrick Jephson as well as senior communications professionals from P&G, Weber Shandwick, CITI, TRT World and AMEC will discuss the importance of reputation management, data leaks, influencer marketing, crisis communications, as well as PR measurement and visual communications.
Istanbul is hosting the summit for the fourth time.
The first Global PR Summit Istanbul took place in 2014 followed by the events in 2015 and 2016.
Ikbal Ibrahim, project director for the Global PR Summit Istanbul, told Anadolu Agency: “In the past four years, over 1,000 PR professionals from 35 different countries have attended the Global PR Summit Istanbul.
“The event serves as a bridge to connect Turkish PR professionals with their colleagues from around the world.”
The Global PR Summit Istanbul 4 has been organized by P World, an international creative agency that organizes events in 30 countries around the world. The event is supported by Anadolu Agency.
