UPDATE – Turkish women's archery team wins gold

UPDATES WITH TURKISH TEAM WINNING EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP, SILVER FOR TURKEY; CHANGES HEADLINE

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's women's classic archery team won the European championship in the Polish city of Legnica on Saturday.

According to a statement by the Turkish Archery Federation, Aybuke Aktuna, Gulnaz Busranur Coskun and Yasemin Ecem Anagoz defeated their Italian opponents.

Separately, Turkey's Yesim Bostan, Gizem Elmaagacli and Ayse Bera Suzer defeated Italy in the compound women's team category to claim gold.

Additionally, Yesim Bostan won silver in the compound women's category by defeating her Spanish opponent Andrea Marcos.
