UK’s Prince William arrives in Israel

JERUSALEM (AA) – The U.K.’s Prince William, the duke of Cambridge and second in line to the British throne, arrived in Israel on Monday evening.

According to Israeli daily Maariv, he was received by Israeli Minister of Tourism Yariv Levin at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport.

While in Israel, William is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli President Reuven Rivlin.

He is also expected to visit Jerusalem’s Old City and the Al-Buraq Wall (known to Jews as the “Western Wall”), Maariv reported without providing further details.

Prince William arrived in Israel from Jordan, where he had met with a number of Jordanian officials.
