Turkish vice president receives Chinese envoy in Ankara

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey’s vice president on Friday met with China's special representative at the Presidential Complex in the capital Ankara.

During his meetings with Le Yucheng, Fuat Oktay said Turkey's trade volume with China is about $23 billion and it should reach the $50 billion goal in short term.

Oktay stated that it is necessary to develop mutual cooperation mechanisms with the Chinese government.

For his part, Le Yucheng said that China supports Turkey's firm stance and stable policies despite economic attacks against country, and lauded Turkey's resistance against them.
