Turkish institute to host cultural event in Romania

By Zuhal Demirci</p> <p>ANKARA (AA) – Turkey’s culture institute on Thursday announced it will inaugurate a &quot;Turkish Week&quot; in the Romanian capital of Bucharest from April 3-7.</p> <p>Yunus Emre Institute will host various events under the theme &quot;Gobeklitepe: People and life&quot;, in honor of the 12,000-year-old temple in Turkey's southeast.

The site was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in June 2018.

Named after the influential poet Yunus Emre, the institute now has some 50 cultural centers around the world offering artistic, social and scientific programs.
