ISTANBUL (AA) – European aerobic gymnast champion Ayse Begum Onbasi won the gold medal at the third Mediterranean Artistic and Aerobic Gymnastics Junior Championships in Tunisia.
The Turkish female gymnast competed in the 15-to-17-year-old category.
In a statement, Turkish Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Hamza Yerlikaya said: “I congratulate our national athletes who won a total of two gold, four silver and five bronze medals at the third Mediterranean Artistic and Aerobic Gymnastics Junior Championships in Tunisia. ”
